- Why purchase a property in Turkey?
When you purchase a property in Turkey it means that you are making a very good investment for the future. At the moment the prices are still quite low but everybody
knows turkey is growing and it became one of the favourites of foreign investors and tourists alike. Turkey is on its way to joining the EU and if that happens prices will rise sharply. Also the cost of living is a lot less here in turkey than most other places in
Europe.

- If I purchase a property in Turkey, do I have to come to Turkey many times
in order to do all the legal transactions for the purchase?
If you purchase property in Turkey from us, we manage the purchase for you.
You would only need to come over to Turkey once to view and buy your property and
sign the contract, etc. After that you can leave everything to us buy giving power of attorney.

- If I buy a property in Turkey do I need to take a residency?
No you can purchase your property without one as long as you have got your valid tourist visa your ok, but you will need to get a residency if you should wish to stay in the country for long periods of time. or to have certain services in your own name.

- How long does it take to own the property?
The process of obtaining the title deeds for any property can take anything from 2
months. If you buy a property both the property, land and the person has to be checked
by the military authorities before you can get the title deeds. This ruling applies to all foreign people who buy property in Turkey. Once the checks have been completed the results are sent back to the Title Deeds office when the process of name changing on the Tapu can start.

- Can I purchase more that one property?
You can purchase as many as properties as you wish. Also property deeds can also
have more then one name on them.

- Is it easy to rent my property out?
It is easy to rent your property out because we believe that you have purchased a
property that will sell its self just by the look of the complex alone, should you need
help to rent your property out am sure that the site management company will be
able to assist you. But the rental income depends on the size and location of the
property within the complex.

- Can you help me with furnishing my property?
We will assist you with furnishing your property. Furnishing your property is cheaper
here in Turkey. If you want we can supply you with a choice of options from our
furniture packs which we know will be cheaper then usual for you to buy your furniture.

- What is the best time to visit Turkey?
That depends on what you like. If you want to go to the beach and swim you should
come to turkey in July or August. If you want to relax and you don't like the extremely warm weather from June till August you can come to turkey before or after the main
tourist season. The main tourist season in Didim/Altinkum is from June till August.

- Would it be a problem communicate with Turkish people?
Most of the Turkish people here speak good English, German or French. It won't be a problem communicating. Especially as your in a holiday resort.

- Am I able to drink the tap water?
We advise that you drink bottled water which is very cheap to buy; most people in
Turkey only drink bottled water as tap water is not drinkable in most areas

- How can I open a bank account in Turkey?
Foreigners can open an account at a number of the Turkish banks. Your passport is
always required when going to the bank. Cash point cards are available and can be
applied for once the account is open and funds have been added. A bank account is
useful for setting up direct debits for utility bills.

- What about bringing pets into Turkey?
It is possible to bring pets into turkey with its own pet passport. However, on returning
to the UK the pet would be subject to UK quarantine laws.
